‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’ Hindi Version Collects Rs 250 Crore In India Within A Week

Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 is dominating the box office worldwide. The Hindi version of the film, directed by Prashanth Neel, collected Rs 250 crore in India within a week. KGF: Chapter 2 is inching towards Rs 700 crore-mark across the globe. At this rate, the film is going to cross Rs 1000 crore at the box office. The film has already surpassed Baahubali: The Beginning’s lifetime collections.

Director Prashanth Neel’s KGF: Chapter 2 is having a fantastic run at the theatres. The film released in theatres on April 14 in five languages. Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the film got postponed multiple times.

Trade analyst LM Kaushik took to Twitter to give a shout out to KGF: Chapter 2. His tweet read, “#KGFChapter2 #KGF2 Hindi version crosses the 250+ CR Ind nett milestone mark after just 1 week of its run. The fastest ever to this huge landmark (sic).”

This is an incredible milestone for a South Indian film. Earlier, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise and SS Rajamouli’s RRR performed exceptionally well in the North belt.

KGF: Chapter 2 is a commercial action thriller featuring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty in lead roles. The film is produced on a huge scale by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda, editor Ujwal Kulkarni and composer Ravi Basrur form the technical crew.
