Punjab : Minister Vijay Singla arrested over corruption, CM Bhagwant Mann suspends him

Chandigarh [India]: Punjab’s Anti-Corruption Branch on Tuesday apprehended Punjab Minister Vijay Singla adhering to corruption accusations against him.

Prior to his apprehension, he was sacked by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann from the cabinet.
According to Chief Minister’s office (CMO), Singla was demanding 1 per cent commission from officials for contracts. The CMO said that concrete proof was located against Singla.

” For the 2nd time in the history of the country, a Chief Minister took stringent action straight against his minister,” asserted the Punjab centimeters Workplace in a declaration.

Previously, in the year 2015, the Delhi Chief Minister had actually sacked one of his priests in a corruption situation, included the Punjab CMO.
