Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India]: After BJP spokesperson Malavika Avinash slammed Adipurush director Om Raut for “misrepresentation” of Ramayana, the Madhya Pradesh Home Minister has issued a declaration echoing similar sentiments.
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra slammed the filmmaker and expressed his objection to the portrayal of the Hindu religion in the movie. He additionally stated that he is writing a letter to Om Raut asking him to put off objectionable scenes. Narottam Mishra said, “We have an objection to the portrayal of the movie Adipurush. It isn’t proper to slander us by wrongly filming the Hindu religion’s focal factors. I am writing a letter to filmmaker Om Raut to cast off the objectionable scenes; if those scenes are not eliminated, then we can take legal action.”
Earlier, BJP spokesperson Malavika Avinash stated, “I am saddened by way of the reality that the director not to mention getting to know the Valmiki’s Ramayana, Kamba Ramayana or Tulsidasa’s Ramayana, or the umpteen numbers of interpretations of Ramayana which might be available across board as some distance as Thailand wherein they do stunning performances of the Ramayana.
