New Delhi [India]: The Ministry of Coal on Tuesday carried out e-auction of eight mines spread out in 5 states under the business coal mining auction procedure.
“The Nominated Authority, Ministry of Coal carried out e-auction of eight coal mines here today,” the Ministry of Coal claimed in a declaration. Out of the 8 coal mines that have been auctioned, 5 coal mines are fully checked out and also three mines are partly explored.
The complete geological books for these eight coal mines are 2157.48 Million Tonnes (MT). The Advancing Peak Price Ability (PRC) for these coal mines is 19.31 million lot per year.
Out of the eight coal mines that have been auctioned 2 remain in Jharkhand – Basantpur and also Jitpur; 2 in Maharashtra – Dahegaon/Makardhokra-IV and also Marki Mangli-IV; and two in Odisha – Rampia & Dip Side of Rampia.
Sursa mines from Chhattisgarh and also Bandha North from Madhya Pradesh were additionally auctioned.
