Kiran Raj’s Bahaddur Gandu Title Changed As ‘Bharjari Gandu’

The title of upcoming Kannada movie Bahaddur Gandu starring Kiran Raj and Yasha Shivakumar in lead roles has been changed as Bharjari Gandu. The film was originally titled as Bahaddur Gandu borrowed from the cult Bahaddur Gandu which got released in the year 1976.

After the demise of Puneeth Rajkumar and fans expressing their anguish for using the title of a popular film. the makers had decided to change the title. The new title has been revealed along with the teaser. The official trailer of the movie will be revealed on Mahashivaratri festival. PraSiddh has helmed the project. Gummineni Vijay is the music director. Venky UDV is the editor, while Kitty Koushik is the cinematographer.

Kiran Raj had said, “The movie is a tribute to Dr Rajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar. we decided to change the title itself as everyone is in grief, we don’t want to create unnecessary controversies. Bharjari Gandu showcases a particular rural culture which is fast vanishing due to urbanization. The final title will be released shortly.”
