Yash has managed to impress the audience greatly with his performance in KGF: Chapter 2. The film has broken all the records at the box office, and even made other films like Jersey suffer because of its success. Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF 2 has now crossed the Rs 950-crore mark at the total box office collection, and it is now eyeing to surpass the Rs 1000-crore milestone. The film has earned Rs 959.10 crore in 16 days worldwide.
KGF: Chapter 2 hit the theatres on April 14. Ever since, it has been going strong at the box office. According to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, the film earned Rs 15.28 crore on Day 16 worldwide. Hence, the total box office collection now stands at Rs 959.10 crore. Manobala’s tweet read, “#KGFChapter2 WW Box Office. CROSSES 950 cr milestone mark. Week 1 – 720.31 cr Week 2 – 223.51 cr Week 3 Day 1 – 15.28 cr Total – 959.10 cr TOUGH COMPETITOR (sic).”
Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF traces the rise and fall of Rocky, played by Yash. The post-credits scene of KGF: Chapter 2 hinted at a sequel to the film. The second part features Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty in lead roles. The film also saw Malavika Avinash, Prakash Raj, Eswari Rao and Saran in supporting roles.
