S. Thaman, who is composing the music for Vijay’s ongoing project, Thalapathy 66 has confirmed that the film is not bilingual. The in-form music composer went on to add that he is absolutely enjoying composing the music for the film as it has been his long-standing aspiration to work with Vijay.

Thalapathy 66 was initially touted to be bilingual. However, Thaman, who is composing the music for the Vijay starrer, has confirmed that the film is not bilingual.

“Thalapathy 66 will only be dubbed in Telugu. It is a proper Tamil film and it will be entirely shot in Tamil. I am enjoying working on the film as I get to score the music for Vijay Sir, who is a great dancer.

It has been a dream come true experience for me”, Thaman said in a recent interview.

So, Thaman went on to add that it was Vijay’s idea to bring him on board for the project and he couldn’t have been happier. The talented music composer said he can’t wait to show the world the tunes he has scored for the much-awaited film.

Release

Thalapathy 66 was officially launched in April. So, The film marks the coming together of Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, Thaman, and Vamshi Paidipally. So, The film is produced by Dil Raju and it is likely to release in theatres during Pongal 2023.

Tamil

As confirmed by Thaman, the Vijay starrer will be shot entirely in Tamil and then be dubbed in Telugu and simultaneously released in both languages.
