Vijay has announced his next with Vamshi Paidipally, and the film is reported to be Tamil-Telugu bilingual with several dubbed versions of other Indian languages. The shooting of the film will begin by mid or post-December, and the film produced by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations is expected to be a 2022 Diwali release. Now, the latest report claims that Ananya was approached for ‘Thalapathy 66’, and later the makers dropped her name after she got involved in the ongoing Aryan Khan’s drug case.
However, the actress’s team claimed through an interaction with an online portal that there is no truth to the report as the actress was never approached or dropped by the ‘Thalapathy 66’ team.
Earlier, Keerthy Suresh or Kiara Advani was reported to be playing the female lead in ‘Thalapathy 66’, and the makers are to confirm the final cast and crew for the film. Thaman is expected to score music for the first time for Vijay in ‘Thalapathy 66’ as he has missed a few projects at the last point.
Meanwhile, Vijay is filming for his current film ‘Beast’ with Nelson Dhilipkumar, and the team has completed three-fourths of work for the film.
