Singer Celine Dion Postpones Tour As She Reveals Rare Neurological Disorder Diagnosis

Washington [US]: Canadian singer Celine Dion has discovered that she is stricken by a rare neurological sickness known as Stiff-Person Syndrome that impacts approximately one in a million human beings.

According to Fox News, an American information outlet, Celine took to her Instagram and published a video message revealing the analysis of her ailment. The mother of three shared one pretaped video in English and one in French.

The ‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer went on to show that she has been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), which she defined: as “influences something like one in 1,000,000 human beings.”

As with Fox News, SPS is defined through the Cleveland Clinic as “”a rare autoimmune movement disorder that affects the central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord).

Celine said the sickness was causing spasms that affected her potential to stroll and sing.
