‘Pushpa: The Rise’ Trailer Out

The much-awaited theatrical trailer of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ is out and seems to be another mass masala entertainer all the way through after Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda’.

Be it his look, his dressing, or the storyline, Pushpa resembles the Karnataka sandalwood don ‘Veerappan’s life story. Allu Arjun seems to be appearing in a dual role in this film, wherein in one role he would be playing a sandalwood thief and in the other, he is a don behind several such illegal businesses.

The dialogues, “Pushpa ante flower anukunnara (one may think it’s about a flower but it is about a fire)” and the other “This world has given you a gun. And gave me an axe, to play my own game” is very catchy.

His makeover, dialect and presentation look different from all his previous films. And for the first time comedian, Sunil and anchor turned actress Anasuya Bhardwaj seem to be playing negative roles in the film. Pushpa looks cool in his harsh answers to the police.

The film’s cinematography, background score looks excellent. The grand visuals in the trailer set the stage for several memes and other promotional content on social media from now.

‘Pushpa: The Rise- Part 1’, is an upcoming action thriller, written and directed by Sukumar Banreddi and jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty media.

The film will see Allu Arjun playing the titular role and Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil will be playing the antagonist. It will hit the theatres on December 17th in several languages in its dubbed versions.
