Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Kaala Jaadu’ Song From ‘Freddy’ Out

kartik aaryan's 'kaala jaadu' song from 'freddy'

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming crime-mystery ‘Freddy’ just released its first tune on YouTube.

Titled ‘Kaala Jaadu’, the music is observed through a well-choreographed track video featuring Kartik dressed in a tuxedo surrounded by several masked girls in black dresses. Kartik’s co-superstar in the film, Alaya F, shared a clip from the song on her Instagram with the caption – “#Freddy is here to cast his spell on you with his #KaalaJaadu!”.

The tune is yet any other flower within the cap of track director Pritam, who’s recognized for well-orchestrated hits within the beyond like ‘Badtameez Dil’ and ‘Kesariya’ from the currently released Brahmastra. Its grand orchestration harks back to Bond songs – dark, sinister, and moody. It will surely sway listeners in vogue, but with a warning!

The darkish, husky voice of Arijit Singh adds another measurement to the tune, making it sound as twisted as the person of Kartik Aaryan would be in the film, a dentist with murderous tendencies. Nikhita Gandhi, too brings a whole lot of gravitas to the tune.

The lyrics are equally darkish and twisted, in sync with the film’s subject matter. Penned by Pushkin award-triumphing lyricist Irshad Kamil, they’re suggestive of the film’s character, with traces such as “Hota ishq mein koi na koi toh kaala jaadu” making it very clear that this isn’t always a song of an average protagonist.

And if all that wasn’t enough, the music video simply brought the house down. The usage of black in the dresses and the sets corroborates the theme of mystery and evil. The choreography is clean and classy, and Kartik’s charmingly devilish charisma cannot be missed.

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, Freddy might be released on Disney+Hotstar on December 2.
