Etawah, Aug 27: At least four passengers including a woman and an infant were killed and 31 others were injured when a UP Roadways bus hit a stationary truck on Kanpur- Agra highway in Bakewar area near Bijauli village on early Friday morning.
ASP ( Rural) Omveer Singh said here that the accident occurred at around 0200 hours when an Agra depot government bus hit a stationary truck while going towards Kanpur.
After the accident, the bus driver escaped leaving his vehicle. The bus was carrying around 50 passengers.
Several of the passengers were reported to be in critical condition.
The deceased were identified as Ms Gitesh(22), Aditya(one), Nirpat(42) and Amar Mugdhul(62).
