On January 17, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth took to their respective social media pages to announce their separation. This came as a huge shock to their family members, fans and friends as well. Now, recent reports suggest that Aishwaryaa’s father and actor Superstar Rajinikanth, want his daughter to ‘mend her marriage’ with Dhanush and has been talking to her regarding the same.
Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth and Dhanush were married for 18 years and on January 17, the couple called it quits. They have two sons – Yatra and Linga. After their separation, both of them are busy with their respective projects and are currently in Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that Rajinikanth is badly affected by Dhanush and Aishwarya’s separation. It is said that he is trying hard to reunite them by holding talks with them.
A source told Wion, “Rajini sir has taken his daughter’s break up very badly. He keeps insisting that the separation is temporary. He has been urging his daughter to mend her marriage.” However, it is unclear if Aishwaryaa and Dhanush would reconcile after making a public announcement.
Similarly, Dhanush’s father and director Kasthuri Raja revealed that the couple had not filed for divorce yet. Instead, he called it a family quarrel and he is trying to talk to both of them to solve their issues.
In an interview to a Tamil daily, Kasthuri Raja said, “It is a family quarrel that usually takes place between a married couple.” He also revealed that Dhanush and Aishwaryaa are in Hyderabad for their respective projects.
Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth got married in 2004 in a grand ceremony in Chennai.
