With the growing number of COVID-19 positive cases in the country, the film fraternity has also been reporting cases of celebrities being invected by the deadly coronavirus. After director Arun Vaidhyanathan who had recently recovered after testing positive for the Omicron variant, television presenter and commentator Suhail Chandhok, who had acted in Ajith-starrer ‘Veeram’ is the latest to have tested positive for Omicron.
Sharing pictures of his swab test, Suhail Chandhok posted, “Be careful what you wish for. My New Year wish a few days ago: Here’s to plenty of positivity, constant learning etc… #Omicron: Here’s some positivity to start 2022. Some annoying symptoms but ok so far & hopefully back in the Commentary box soon. #StaySafe #Covid_19” (sic)

Interestingly, Suhail Chandhok has acted only in one film, which is director Siva’s ‘Veeram’ starring Ajith Kumar and Tamannaah in the lead. He played one of Ajith’s four brothers in the film.
