Prime Video’s Farzi, created by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, marks the virtual debut of actors Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi. On Friday, Farzi’s trailer was launched by the cast and team, giving a higher peek into the fast-paced web collection, providing Shahid as a conman, and Vijay as a law enforcement officer looking to tune him down. Farzi additionally functions Kay Kay Menon, Raashi Khanna, Amol Palekar, Regina Cassandra and Bhuvan Arora. The crime mystery may be launched on February 10.
Farzi specializes in the cat-and-mouse race between Shahid and Vijay Sethupathi, where dropping isn’t always an alternative. The trailer opened with Shahid jumping in bed with money – study faux money – as he talked about being so rich ‘that he no longer wants to recognize money anymore’. The trailer then shows how Shahid and his crew make ‘nakli notes (counterfeits)’ and get rich in a single day. Showing off his new-located mindset to ‘spoil the device’, in which the rich preserve getting richer and the terrible best pay for loans, the actor said in Hindi, “We are not center-magnificence, we are the center-finger elegance!”
Shahid says in the clip that he is an artist who can ‘replicate any art’. No wonder the law enforcement wants him at any cost and admits he is ‘unstoppable’. Vijay and his team on land, then chase Shahid in water. But will they manage to catch him, or will they be conned?
Farzi has been written via Raj and DK, together with Sita R Menon and Suman Kumar. The upcoming collection has eight episodes and is said to be “an edgy, one-of-a-type crime thriller, with the director duo’s trademark humour, stitched round a clever underdog road artist’s pursuit to con the machine that favours the wealthy”.
In an advance assertion on Farzi, Raj and DK had said, “After a vastly hit affiliation with Prime Video for The Family Man, we’re pleased to return with our subsequent new series! It’s certainly one of our favorite scripts, which we’ve created with several passions and shot through the ups and downs of the pandemic. We can’t look ahead to every person to watch this collection that’ll be out on Prime on February 10.”
