Police Complaint Filed Against The ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ Team

Suriya’s ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ was released Thursday, March 10th and the film has been doing well at the box office. The social drama has turned out to be a happy project for the makers as it has been receiving positive reviews. Now, the latest report is that a police complaint was filed against the ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ team.

The All India Netaji Party has lodged a complaint with the Coimbatore Police Commissioner demanding that the ‘Ullam Urugudhaya’ song from ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ be seen as an insult to the Tamil god Murugan and demanded that the song should be removed from the film immediately.

Although it has been several days since the release of the song, it was only after the film’s release it came to notice that there are scenes in the song that are alleged to have insulted god Murugan. Therefore, All India Netaji Party head Rahul Gandhi has demanded the song should be removed from the film immediately. He has also asked for legal action against Suriya, director Pandiraj, composer D. Imman and lyricist Yugabarathi. Rahul Gandhi has decided to sue in court on the issue and opts to teach a lesson to those who despise Hindu gods and beliefs. ‘

Fans have been celebrating as Suriya’s film was released in theaters after a long hiatus, but the sudden complaint has disturbed their celebration.
