‘India’s success no longer bound by old ways’

Rudraprayag (Uttarakhand) [India] : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that country’s success is no longer bound by old ways and a ‘new India’ has a new vision to be one of the leading economies in the future.
While addressing people at Kedarnath in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, the Prime Minister said, “India’s success is no longer bound by the old ways; new India has a new vision to be one of the leading economies in the future.” Prime Minister Modi after inaugurating various re-development projects worth Rs 130 crores in Kedarnath, said the new development projects will enhance the journey of devotees to the holy shrine, “The improved amenities and safety measures ensure that we are prepared for future calamities,” he said.
He further lauded the efforts of the Uttarakhand government for working proactively in connecting Char Dham with well-constructed roads and highways “which will help in boosting tourism initiatives and employment in the state”.
“I thank the Uttarakhand government, Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami, and all those who have taken responsibility for these works and development,” he said.
The Prime Minister said that these pilgrim centers are not limited to tourism and a source of enjoyment but rather a “way of living for Indians and makes us who we are”.
“India is celebrating ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and making new goals for development and success,” said PM Modi.
The Prime Minister today offered prayers at Kedarnath Temple. This is Prime Ministers’ second visit to the temple during his term; the last time he visited the Kedarnath temple was in 2019.
He unveiled the 12-feet statue of Adi Shankaracharya at the premises of the Kedarnath Temple in Rudraprayag district and inaugurated various re-development projects worth Rs 130 crores.
These projects include Saraswati Retaining Wall Aasthapath and Ghats, Mandakini Retaining Wall Aasthapath, Tirth Purohit Houses and Garud Chatti bridge on river Mandakini.
“The new development projects will enhance the journey of devotees with improved amenities and safety measures to ensure that we are prepared for future calamities,” said the Prime Minister.
Located on the bank of the Mandakini river, Kedarnath Temple is the of the four ancient pilgrimage sites referred to as ‘Char Dham’ which also include Yamunotri, Gangotri and Badrinath. Built in the 8th century A.D. by Jagad Guru Adi Shankaracharya, Kedarnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

After Ayodhya’s Ram temple, development, connectivity progressing rapidly in Mathura, Kashi, says PM Modi

Rudraprayag (Uttarakhand) [India] : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that after Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, which is getting its glory back after centuries, the development of infrastructure and connectivity is progressing rapidly in Mathura and Varanasi also.
While addressing people at Kedarnath in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, the Prime Minister said, “Today a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram is being built in Ayodhya with full glory and it is getting its glory back after centuries. Recently, Deepotsav was celebrated there.” “Also, different initiatives are going on in Mathura and Vrindavan for the development of infrastructure and connectivity. Work on the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor project in Varanasi is also progressing rapidly. Now, the country aims high and also sets a time limit to achieve these aims,” added PM Modi.


The Prime Minister today offered prayers at Kedarnath Temple. He also inaugurated various re-development projects worth Rs 130 crores including Saraswati Retaining Wall Aasthapath and Ghats, Mandakini Retaining Wall Aasthapath, Tirth Purohit Houses and Garud Chatti bridge on river Mandakini.
The Prime Minister also unveiled the 12-feet statue of Adi Shankaracharya at the premises of the Kedarnath Temple in Rudraprayag district. The Samadhi of Adi Shankaracharya has been reconstructed after its destruction in the 2013 Uttarakhand floods.

PM lauds Uttarakhand’s discipline

Rudraprayag (Uttarakhand) [India] : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday praised the Uttarakhand government for its attempts at curbing the COVID-19 pandemic and said that the discipline displayed by the State in the fight is commendable.
“The kind of discipline shown by Uttarakhand in the fight against COVID is commendable,” the Prime Minister said while addressing people at Kedarnath in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. He further appreciated the state for administering the first dose of the COVID vaccination to 100 per cent of its population.
“Overcoming the geographical difficulties, today Uttarakhand and its people have achieved the target of 100 per cent vaccination of the first dose. This is the strength and power of Uttarakhand,” said the PM.
Earlier in October, Uttarakhand had achieved administering the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine to its entire eligible population.
Taking to Twitter, the Prime Minister had said, “Many congratulations to the people of Devbhoomi. This achievement of Uttarakhand is very important in the country’s fight against Covid. I am confident that our vaccination campaign is going to be the most effective in fighting the global pandemic and people’s participation is crucial in this.”
Meanwhile, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had tweeted saying: “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttarakhand has become the state to administer first dose of Covid vaccine to all eligible beneficiaries in the state. Congratulations to all the people of the state. #SabkoVaccineMuftVaccine.”

Work underway on Char Dham all-weather road: Uttarakhand CM

Rudraprayag (Uttarakhand) [India]): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday said that work on Char Dham all-weather road is underway in Uttarakhand.
He further attributed the development projects being undertaken in the state to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. “Under Prime Minister’s leadership, development projects worth crores of rupees have been inaugurated in the state in last five years. Work is underway on the railway project between Rishikesh-Karanprayag. Work is in progress on Char Dham all-weather road under government’s Bharat Mala project,” said the Chief Minister here today.
The Prime Minister arrived in Uttarakhand today. He offered prayers at Kedarnath Temple and inaugurated various re-development projects. This is Prime Ministers’ second visit to the temple during his term; the last time he visited the Kedarnath temple was in 2019.
Dhami in his address also said that the Prime Minister is well versed with the smallest of issues of the state.


“Under the leadership of the Prime Minister with the help of the Centre, various works have been undertaken which were seemed impossible. In the last five years, more than one lakh crore several projects have been approved,” said Dhami.
