Bhopal, Aug 20: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Friday that the state dispensation has decided to search for fresh talent and train them at 18 sports academies.
“Our objective is to churn out contestants who will bring laurels to the country and the state in the Olympics or at various other world-level or national competitions. I appeal to interested youth to register themselves through the campaign. Our eyes are on the 2024 Paris and 2028 Los Angeles Olympics,” Mr Chouhan said in a message.
Till date, in excess of 50,000 aspirants have applied for online registration.
