Paneer Makhani Recipe

Ingredients

Paneer – 400 gms
Butter – as desired
Tej patta -1
1” cinnamon stick
Green Cardamom – 4
Clove – 4
Ginger – 1 inch
Garlic -6-7
Onion – 2
Tomato – 4
Kashmiri mirch – 2
Melon seeds(magaj) 1/4 cup
Red chilli pd- 1tsp
Coriander powder – 1tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

Process
In a pan, add some oil & butter & cook all the ingredients except for paneer & 2 each of cloves & Elaichi pods. Grind once done and strain. Cook out the gravy with the remaining cloves, Elaichi & cinnamon stick. Fry the paneer in separate pan with some butter, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder & kasoori methi and add to the gravy. Serve hot with a sprinkle of kasoori methi & a drizzle of fresh cream.
