Netizens Troll Alia Bhatt, ‘#BoycottBrahmastra’ Trends On Twitter

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Alia Bhatt is trending on Twitter and it is not for the right motive. Netizens have taken offence in opposition to Alia’s latest assertion and have commenced trending the ‘boycott’ hashtag on Twitter over again.

Reportedly, Alia, in an interview, stated that “if you don’t like me, don’t watch me”, which has triggered anger amongst netizens. The clip has gone viral on social media, with many Twitter users saying that they will boycott her upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’. A Twitter user wrote, “#Bollywood seems to be losing its mind because of #BoycottBollywood trend. As you wish dear @aliaa08”.

Earlier, Kareena Kapoor, vintage interview surfaced on social media right in advance of the release of her movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ which made humans livid. In the video, Kareena echoed comparable sentiments as Alia and that caused the ‘boycott’ fashion on Twitter, subsequently contributing to the negative performance of the movie on the container office.

The boycott fashion has gained mass momentum nowadays, with many actors and their movies being on the receiving end.

Talking about ‘Brahmastra’, the film is scheduled to hit the theatres on September nine. Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and south actor Nagarjuna can also be visible in outstanding roles in Ayan Mukerji’s directorial.

The first film in a trilogy so one can form Bollywood’s personal cinematic universe, the Astraverse, Brahmastra took 5 years to produce. The film will release in 5 Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
