Kangana Ranaut To Portray Legendary Theatre Artist Noti Binodini In Pradeep Sarkar Directorial

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Actor Kangana Ranaut, who may be seen in the position of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in ‘Emergency’, is developing with every other biopic – that of legendary theatre artist Noti Binodini.

The film will be helmed by ace filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar, as per a statement shared with the aid of Kangana’s crew. “I am a huge fan of Pradeep Sarkar ji and very glad for this possibility. Also, this will be my first collaboration with Prakash Kapadia ji and I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing adventure with a number of the best artists of this country,” Kangana said.

The film is written by Prakash Kapadia of ‘Devdas’ and ‘Padmavat’ fame.

Kangana is expected to start shooting for the movie early next year after wrapping Emergency.

Born in 1862, Binodini grew up below the tutelage of Girish Chandra Ghosh and appeared in her first overall performance at the age of 12. She became the sort of name inside the proscenium theatre shape of the European genre that European theatre enthusiasts could name her ‘the flower of local tiers’.

During a twelve-year profession, she enacted over 80 roles, which covered those of Pramila, Sita, Draupadi, Radha, Ayesha, Kaikeyi, Motibibi, and Kapalkundala, amongst others. She became one of the first South Asian actresses of the theatre to put in writing her own autobiography.
