Independence Day : Haryana Guv to hoist National Flag in Gurugram

Chandigarh, Aug 12: Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya will hoist the National Flag during the state-level Independence Day celebrations on August 15 in Gurugram.
The ‘At Home’ will be organized in Gurugram later in the evening on the same day, an official spokesperson said and added that the flag hoisting will be done immediately after 0900 hrs at various places in the state.
He said that Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar would hoist the National Flag at Faridabad while Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala will hoist the National Flag at Mahendragarh.
Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Gian Chand Gupta will hoist the National Flag at Karnal and Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa will hoist the National Flag at Bhiwani. Health Minister Anil Vij will hoist the National Flag at Ambala. Education Minister Kanwar Pal will hoist the National Flag at Charkhi Dadri. Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma at Palwal.
Likewise, Power Minister Ranjit Singh will hoist the National Flag at Fatehabad. Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister J P Dalal will hoist the National Flag at Panchkula and Co-Operation Minister Dr Banwari Lal will hoist the National Flag at Panipat.
Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment O P Yadav will hoist the National Flag at Yamunanagar. Minister of State for Women and Child Development Kamlesh Dhanda will hoist the National Flag at Hisar.
Similarly, Minister of State for Archaeology and Museums Anoop Dhanak will hoist the National Flag at Rewari. Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs Sandeep Singh will hoist the National Flag at Nuh.
The spokesperson said that Divisional Commissioner, Karnal will hoist National Flag at Kaithal, Divisional Commissioner, Rohtak will hoist National Flag at Rohtak, Divisional Commissioner, Hisar will hoist National Flag at Sirsa, Deputy Commissioner Kurukshetra will hoist the National Flag in Kurukshetra.
Apart from these programmes, Independence Day celebrations would also be organised in Mandal, District, Sub-Division, Block, Panchayat Headquarters and big villages. If any of these dignitaries or officers are unable to reach these places due to any reason, then the concerned Deputy Commissioner would hoist the National flag there. The concerned sub-divisional officer (civil) or tehsildar will hoist the flag at the sub-division and tehsil headquarters.
The spokesperson said that the Independence Day celebrations should be organized across the state while strictly adhering to the instructions issued by the Central Government on August 3 and by the Haryana State Disaster Management on August 9.
