Ranchi, Aug 10: Hundreds of youths represented different outfits and organisations gathered
at the Morhabadi grounds of the state capital on Tuesday over demands of jobs.
The agitators wanted to reach the Chief Minister’s house or the Raj Bhawan to highlight their
issues however they were stopped at the grounds by the policemen. To prevent their any further movement the entire Morhabadi ground was filled with police personnel.
The protesters who had gathered the grounds were protesting under the banner of 6th JPSC, successful candidates of JAP exams, panchayat sevaks etc. All of them were demanded that the
state government should announce the domicile policy, give jobs to five lakhs youth and also
provide unemployment allowance.
Since the Ranchi Police was in no mood to take any risk therefore as soon as the protesters
started gathering apart from the policemen, vehicles of fire brigade, riot control etc was positioned
at the venue.
Apart from that deployment of additional police personnel and RAF jawans was also made on
many important roads and spots of the capital.
