Heavy to very heavy rain likely to occur in Telangana : Met

Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Rajanna Siricilla, Warangal (Rural), Warangal (Urban), Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhavanagiri districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: In a bulletin here, it said that the same situation is likely to prevail in Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sirsilla, Suryapet, Warangal (Rural),Warangal (Urban), Jangaon, Yadadri Bhavanagiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts of the state on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Mahabubabad, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajigiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Mahabubabad, Siddipet, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool districts of the state on July 14, Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad,Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Warangal (Urban),Janagaon, Siddipet, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy and Mahabubnagar districts of Telangana on July 15.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds speed up to 30- 40 KMPH is very likely to occur at isolated places in all the districts of the state during the next 24 hours and tomorrow.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at most places or at many places or at few places in Telangana during the next five days, the bulletin said.
Southwest Monsoon has been active in Telangana.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Bhadradri Kothagudem and heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Rajanna Sircilla, Mahabubnagar, Jangaon, Wanaparthy, Khammam, and Ranagareddy districts of the state during the last 24 hours.
Rain occurred at most places in Telangana, during the same period, the bulletin added.
