The team of Head Bush will kickstart shooting from Monday. Head Bush lead actor Dhananjaya is producing the movie along with Somanna Talkies, as Ashu Bedra has opted out of the project. The movie, which is based on the life of Bengaluru’s first underworld don MP Jayaraj, is directed by Shoonya. The story is penned by Agni Sridhar.
As the movie is set between the 1960s and 1980s, the makers were keen to shoot in Mysuru and Kolar by creating an ambience which looks similar to the period. The shooting of the childhood portions of Jayaraj have been completed by the team. Akash is essaying the role of MP Jayaraj when he was young. The sequences were shot at Guttahalli.
Dhananjaya is getting beefed up to get into the skin of the character. Charaj Raj is the music director and Karm Chawla is the cinematographer. The movie marks Dhananajaya’s second venture as a producer and will be released in two installments. He has almost completed shooting for Ratnan Prapancha.
