Kakinada, Aug 4: Andhra Pradesh Minister for Agriculture and Corporation Kurasala Kannababu on Wednesday described the special Disha APP as an invisible weapon embedded in the mobiles of womenfolk that provides the much-needed protection to them during any emergency.
Participating as a Chief Guest at the awareness meet on Disha App conducted by the DISHA police at the Pragna Kalyana mandapam at Thimmapuram, a city suburb, the Minister said that Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was giving utmost respect to womenfolk.
“Even the most important portfolio of Home was given to a woman,” Kannababu stated.
He further advised the womenfolk especially the working women, students and adolescent girls to download the Disha app, and after installation getting it duly registered so that it serves the real purpose .
