With attractive words, Cyber fraudsters are siphoning off the money and cheating innocent people. It is not due to lack of knowledge but because of lack of common sense, he said.
Mr Sajjanar appealed to the public to follow the following “10 Principles “ to avoid Cyber Crimes
They included: do not believe them blindly, never share your personal identity credentials, there are no shortcuts to earn money. Only with hard work, one can earn money, self-control is crucial. Do not fall prey to fraudsters for satiating your desire and greed, dig deep before believing anyone or anything on the internet, question them and make decisions calmly, be rational and never lose your common sense. Do not be emotional on the internet, do not be complacent. Fraudsters target your weakness and not your strength, do not get into friendships with total strangers or unknown or suspicious persons.
