Cooker Aloo Sabji Recipe

Preparation time : 15 minutes
Cooking time : 20-25 minutes
Servings : 2

Ingredients
For Crushed Chilli & Ginger
2 fresh Green Chillies
1 inch Ginger
Salt to taste )
For Cooker Wali Aloo Ki Sabzi
2 tbsp Ghee
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
prepared crushed Chilli & Ginger
¼ tsp Asafoetida
1 tsp Degi Red Chilli Powder
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
2 medium Tomatoes – big cubes
2-3 medium Potatoes – big cubes
1 tbsp Ghee (घी)
Water (पानी)
Coriander Leaves – roughly torn
½ small Lemon Juice
For Garnish
fresh Coriander Leaves
Lemon Wedge

Process
For Crushed Chilli & Ginger
In a motor pastel add green chillies, ginger, salt and crush them coarsely then keep aside for further use.

For Cooker Wali Aloo Ki Sabzi
In a cooker heat ghee and add cumin seeds, crushed chilli & ginger, asafoetida, degi red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder saute for a minute.
Now add tomatoes and saute until fragrant and the tomatoes are little soft.
Then add the potatoes, ghee, water, stir it once then put the lid on and give it 2-3 whistles then switch off the flames and let it cool down.
Remove the lid and with the help of a masher mash some of the potatoes and then boil it for a minute.
Now finally add coriander leaves, lemon juice and switch off the flames.
Serve hot in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves and lemon wedges.
