Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to reunite with director Aanand L Rai for the third time for an action film titled ‘Action Hero’. The film will be produced under Rai’s banner Colour Yellow Productions and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
The film will be shot in the UK. Other details about the cast and crew are yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann is currently shooting for his upcoming film, ‘Doctor G’ alongside Rakul Preet Singh. The film also stars Shefali Shah in an important role. Recently, while speaking about his films, the actor told IANS that he feels he has celebrated and represented India correctly through his work which has resonated with the world.
He had said, “I try to tell stories that are essentially rooted in the Indian microcosm and are about real people and their real lives in our culturally diverse country. I think that’s why these stories have resonated with people not just in India but also with Indians who live abroad or with people who are interested to know more about our country.”
Apart from ‘Action Hero’ and ‘Doctor G’, Ayushmann will be next seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ with Vaani Kapoor and Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Anek’.
