PM Modi Cabinet Expansion Date: This will be the first cabinet expansion in Modi’s government after he came back to power in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.

After days of speculations and much hype, it is being confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Cabinet will be expanded Today, Wednesday, 7th of July. As per sources informing ABP News, the cabinet changes will take place at 6 PM on Wednesday evening and the President has been apprised about the cabinet change.

This will be the first cabinet expansion in Modi’s government after he came back to power for the second time in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.

Earlier in the evening, senior JD(U) leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar cleared the air about the cabinet expansion of the Modi Government as he admitted that his party members will be getting some key portfolios or ministries in the Union Cabinet.

Though Nitish Kumar did not give out details about the number of berths in the upcoming Union Cabinet for JD(U), he exclaimed that it is ultimately Prime Minister’s decision.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, former Congress leader who joined BJP, is in Delhi and as per sources is believed to be a confirmed candidate for the new PM Modi cabinet.  

Besides him, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Narayan Rane who switched from Shiv Sena to BJP and former Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal are in Delhi as well. As per sources, they will also be part of the new central Cabinet. 

Other names which have surfaced for getting significant positions in the Modi cabinet include Pashupati Paras and Jamyang Tsering Namgyal.

Sources inform ABP News that the number of new faces in the cabinet expansion can go beyond 30. Many old faces can be shown their way out for different reasons. Earlier, there were reports that 17 to 22 ministers could be included in the Modi cabinet.
